Chuck has been at Bala Consulting Engineers for over 25 years. He started as a mechanical engineer, and advanced to Project Manager, Executive Vice President, Partner and a member of Bala’s Executive Leadership Group. He has managed engineering design projects for global business leaders in the Data Center, Corporate Headquarters, R&D/Pharma, Manufacturing and Education markets. A LEED Accredited Professional, Chuck was involved with the United States Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Pilot Phase in the 1990s, working on the landmark Armstrong World Industries Headquarters, which was awarded the USGBC’s Pioneer Award, and later LEED EB Platinum status. He is a national presenter and published expert on Sustainable Design and Data Center Design.
Chuck was recognized as a Friend of Education by Souderton Area School District for his volunteer efforts and community leadership at the school. Chuck holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in multiple states, and a Certified Energy Auditor (CEA). He enjoys road trips on his Harley Davidson and golf.
