As Vice President, Strategy, Tim Hughes manages the Strategy organization for STACK and leverages his experience in technology infrastructure strategy, operations and program management, to develop solutions for STACK enterprise and hyperscale clients that fit their needs. In this role he works to create strategies for clients to enter or expand in critical data center markets with speed, certainty, flexibility and efficiency. He also serves as a Board Member on the Data Center Coalition, working across the industry to engage stakeholders on data center related issues.
Prior to his current role, Tim developed an independent consulting practice that worked with hyperscale user and wholesale data center clients. He previously served in several roles at Facebook including strategy and development and program management and operations. In the areas of strategy and development, Tim was responsible for greenfield data center, leased data center, network PoP and fiber development. In the program management and operations area, Tim worked across technical infrastructure groups at a time of hyper-growth to help scale data centers, networks, servers and software.
