Trends in Development: The Rise of Data Centers (session)
Farris is a Regional Director at Vanderweil Engineers’ Atlanta GA office. Farris has spent over 30 years focusing on the design, commissioning, and construction of MEP engineering systems for technically challenging and complex projects. These projects include manufacturing, laboratory, medical, and mission critical facilities. His extensive experience has allowed him to serve in many roles that have ranged from Principal-in-Charge, Operations Manager, Commissioning Project Manager, and Director of Mission Critical Design.
Over the last 15 years, Farris has contributed to the design, delivery, and commissioning of hyperscale, cloud, colocation, and wholesale data center facilities throughout the United States. His experience includes facility assessments of existing properties for use as mission critical facilities, including the redevelopment of old structures to accommodate new facilities or to repurpose existing infrastructures.
