Chad Baxter is a Procurement Manager at Vantage Data Centers. In this current role, he is leading Vantage’s purchasing efforts for all major mechanical and electrical equipment across their diverse North American portfolio. After graduating from the University of Virginia with a degree in Civil Engineering, Chad began his career working in construction for a large, commercial general contractor based in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. He quickly gravitated to the MEP side of the business, and after building several interiors and school projects, he began purchasing MEP equipment for high profile clients across the hospital, lab, and data center spaces. This purchasing endeavor ultimately led Chad to Vantage where he has spent time working for both the construction and procurement arms of their organization. This experience in both sectors has fueled his passion for how equipment selection and procurement can have profound impact on successful data center builds.
