In this presentation, we’ll address the opportunities and challenges of an edge-to-core data center strategy and provide a roadmap for implementing this strategy. We’ll review the trends driving the growth at the edge and the implications of this growth to core and edge facilities alike. We’ll also provide best practices for edge deployment and management, ranging from single rack locations to freestanding data centers. In addition, we’ll review emerging technologies that can be used to remotely monitor and manage edge locations, including using IoT technology to holistically manage infrastructure in remote locations.
