Bill is Senior Vice President, Engineering and the Chief Engineer at Rosendin Electric, one of the nation’s leading electrical contractors and design/build firms. As one the design and construction industry’s leading minds, Bill has been involved with some of the most complex and important construction efforts in the US over the past 30 years in the data, health, public structure, infrastructure and transportation fields.

Bill is responsible for the overall engineering, design process and technical oversight for the firm in addition to overseeing a number of subsidiaries under Rosendin Holdings. With Rosendin since 2005, Bill is also a director for BladeRoom USA (www.bladeroom.com), a leading solutions provider of modular data center solutions throughout the world.

Bill is an industry leader in all aspect of data center project development and operations, from inception and project requisition to ongoing operations, with over 400 projects consisting of thousands of MW of critical power systems in over 9,000,000 square feet of developed data center space completed to date. Amongst his clients are Facebook, Digital Realty Trust, MasterCard International, the Department of Defense, JP Morgan Chase, Amazon, T Mobile, Intuit, Microsoft, Intel, Symantec, Bank of America, Visa, Time Warner, and Vantage Data Centers, amongst others. Bill also focuses a significant amount of his time on Rosendin’s design/build and integrated project delivery projects and cross-discipline project control systems.

Bill has been deeply involved in both of the data center industry’s standards, EIA/TIA 942, where he was on the industry reviewing panel; and BICSI/ANSI 002 Data Center Best Practices, where he is one of six Principal Authors and Lead for the Electrical section. For the ANSI/BICSI 002 Standard, Bill conceived and published the performance-based rating systems for data centers. Bill is now focusing his efforts in the upcoming BICSI/ANSI Data Center Operations Standards. A registered engineer in 31 states, Mr. Mazzetti is also a US Army veteran with 13 years of service in the special operations community in a variety of assignments.
