Brian Hanking is the CTO of Canara (formerly IntelliBatt), which is the leader in predictive monitoring and analytics for data center backup power systems. Hanking spearheads Canara’s technology and product development efforts, which have made it the most respected name in solutions for ensuring uptime and efficiency of critical backup power systems. Hanking has more than 30 years of experience in the electronics control arena, and one of his many accomplishments is conceiving the first, modular, fiber optic based, battery monitoring system for critical power applications—which was a major milestone toward the advanced systems in use today.
