Jay Hendrix is Portfolio Head of Data Centers, North America for Siemens. He is responsible for data center strategic alignment, solutions management, and market investment and strategy in the North American region. He also manages a team responsible for Datacenter Clarity LC™, Siemens’ Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) software solution that fully integrates both the facility and IT infrastructure within the data center. Jay has more than 25 years of industry experience in product management, controls installation, and wireless and technical integration. Within Siemens, he led the team that introduced the industry’s first wireless mesh building automation system in 2006. He has presented at numerous data center industry events hosted by AFCOM, Datacenter Dynamics and CIO on such topics as data center and facility management integration to boost business agility, and using DCIM to break down facility and IT silos. An industry expert, he also authored and contributed to numerous industry articles on wireless and integrated building system technologies. Jay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University, a Master’s of Business Administration from DePaul University and is an LEED Green Associate.
