Christopher McLean is the Director of Mission Critical Projects at Vanderweil Engineers, and specializes in the design, construction and commissioning of data centers and facilities requiring highly available infrastructure. Prior to Vanderweil, Chris was Director of Data Center Design and Construction at a carrier hotel and co-location facility, where he was responsible for the master planning and development of all infrastructure. Evolving from desktop support and hardware specification, to consulting engineering, to capital project management, Chris has experience in all phases of data center development and operation. He is a regular presenter at technical conferences, and contributes to industry publications.
