Aheli Purkayastha is the Chief Product Officer for Purkay Labs, a global leader in environmental monitoring solutions. She creates simple, sustainable, and cost-effective ways for Mission Critical facilities to increase their cooling efficiency. With her team, she has launched seven products used by Tier 1-4 / Fortune 500 companies across five continents.

Before joining Purkay Labs, Aheli worked with the United Nations Security Council and Oxfam International to coordinate disaster relief missions. She holds a A.B. from Bryn Mawr College in Political Science and the History of Art, and a MSc from the University of Edinburgh in International Political Theory.

She is a founding member of the Women in Mission Critical Organization (WiMCO), where she helps bring more people into the Data Center industry. She is the Vice President of the Bryn Mawr Alumnae Association and a Team Lead for the IRS Volunter Tax Assistance Program. When not traveling abroad, Aheli enjoys renovating ugly houses and learning to sail in the Narragansett Bay.
