Mr. Sullivan has over twenty years experience managing research and development of efficient energy systems for a variety of applications including automotive, power grid, and renewable energy sectors. He has served as the US delegate to the International Energy Agency for collaboration in advanced lightweight materials and managed the US Department of Energy’s research portfolio in batteries and hybrid electric vehicle technologies.
His current position is Project Manager at PowerAmerica, where he works to develop and commercialize wide bandgap semiconductor technology for near term industrial applications. Mr. Sullivan has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Maryland.
