Marisa is an integral part of the Preconstruction team in DPR’s Mid-Atlantic region, a nearly $400 million region which spans seven states and the District of Columbia. Since graduating from the University of Florida in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction, Marisa has had the privilege of being exposed to different roles within each of DPR’s core markets – Advanced Technology, Commercial, Healthcare, Higher Education and Life Sciences. After three years in the field as a Project Engineer, Marisa joined DPR’s preconstruction team. Marisa has most recently been focused on the Advanced Technology/Mission Critical market, where she has been an instrumental team member and leader, working on more than $200 million of data center projects including ground-up facilities, data center pod fit-outs, facility expansions, substations, and site infrastructure for a new data center campus. With a drive to help grow the next generation, Marisa works with project teams from across the country to collect and develop best practices, creating training curriculums for incoming engineers. In addition, Marisa is active in DPR’s national college recruiting program and has led DPR’s intern program for the Mid-Atlantic region for the last four years.
