Green Grid president and chairman of the board Roger Tipley is also the vice president for industry and government alliances in Schneider Electric’s IT Business, with global responsibilities to drive improvements in industry standards and government regulations. As a founding director of The Green Grid Association, Roger has spent many years as a board officer and Green Grid content contributor.

Mr. Tipley also participates in industry influencing associations such as the Information Technology Industry Council and DigitalEurope, and has contributed to the development of ENERGY STAR and EPEAT environmental programs. In the past he has also served as president and chairman of the board for the non-profit PCI-SIG. To date, the US Patent and Trademark Office has granted 22 patents to Mr. Tipley.
