Michael Thrift is Oracle’s Director of North American Data Center Facilities Operations and has more than 25 years of experience in the facilities and real estate industry. Michael joined Oracle in 2007 and initially took on a real estate project management role overseeing construction projects throughout the central and southern US as well as eastern Canada. During the last five years, Michael’s role has focused on facilities operations for Oracle’s dedicated North American data centers located in Austin, TX and Salt Lake City, UT. Prior to joining Oracle, Michael held facilities operations and project management positions with MetaSolv Software, PepsiCo, Convex Computer Corporation, and Texas Instruments. Michael holds the Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation from CoreNet Global and has a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
