Bob Kirkendall has over 35 years of experience designing high technology facilities including data centers, labs and manufacturing facilities. As CH2M’s Senior Architectural Data Center Technologist he facilitates concept development of leading edge mission critical facilities around the world that clearly identify and achieve each client’s unique requirements. His broad experience includes data center projects ranging from several MW to high rise urban data centers exceeding 50 MW, data centers combining traditional data center space with modular data center solutions, colocation and enterprise data centers as well as data center conversions from a variety of building types. Through innovative architectural and engineering solutions his projects typically enable clients to grow with scalable and modular solutions that reduce the initial cost of construction while providing reduced life-of-the-facility operational expense.
